August 27, 2022: "Mary is the beautiful lady in the temple of heaven that we hear described in today’s second reading. She is the “woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars.” And as we heard, Our Lady was “with child” and gave birth to a Son, Jesus Christ, who will 'rule all the nations with an iron rod.'"
August 21, 2022: "St. Rose of Lima is special to me because she is a “saint of the Americas.” And America needs saints! In fact, as you all know, St. Rose was the first saint who was born in the Americas. So we need to ask her today to help us to all grow all in holiness so that we can be saints of the Americas, too."
